Community Update
Lobby Renovation Almost Complete
We are thrilled to share that our lobby renovation is nearly complete! The new furniture has officially arrived and is installed, and we are now just waiting for the final decorative pieces to arrive to fully wrap up the space. Thank you for your patience throughout the process—we can't wait for you to fully enjoy our refreshed community entrance!

Set along the scenic Hood River waterfront, the Hood River Valley Harvest Festival is the Columbia River Gorge’s premier autumn celebration. Running October 9th to 11th, this three-day festival showcases the region's incredible fall bounty—from fresh, farm-picked apples and pears to artisan foods like handmade pies and smoked salmon. Complete with over 80 craft vendors, local cider and beer, and live music right on the water, it makes for an ideal weekend day trip from Portland.

Meet Alfalfa ❤️ 🐾
Kearney Plaza Pet of the Month: Meet Alfalfa
Say hello to October’s Pet of the Month, Alfalfa! This sweet 10-year-old angel—who celebrates his 11th birthday in November—has been filling his owner’s life with love since he was just four months old. A true well-traveled pup, Alfalfa has lived in California, Oregon, and even Hawaii!
According to his DNA test, he’s half Mini Schnauzer and half a delightful mix of Lhasa Apso, Maltese, Chihuahua, and more. When he’s not busy crunching on ice pellets or enjoying treats like cheese, carrots, berries, and chicken, you can find him digging, denning, or snuggling up for cuddles. He definitely prefers to stay high and dry (rainy days are not his favorite!), but give him one of his favorite plushie squirrels, and he’s the happiest boy around!
Be sure to give Alfalfa a warm tail-wagging hello if you spot him around Kearney Plaza!
