Family-founded by Manuel and Aura Matta, every detail feels authentic and welcoming—from carefully sourced beans grown on their 59-acre farm to the playful energy of their Coffeeton pop-ups (yes, that means endless coffee + reggaeton vibes). More than just a café, they’re on a mission to connect people to the journey behind each cup, and we love having their warmth and flavor so close to home.

Spirit of Halloweentown
Looks like it's time for the annual pilgrimage to St. Helens! The Spirit of Halloweentown festival is back from September 27th to October 31st. This year's event has all the classics you love, including the Great Pumpkin lighting and haunted attractions. For those looking to avoid the hassle of parking, you can get there by boat! The "Ghostly Voyage" returns with more dates to choose from, starting October 4th. The trip includes a spooky guided cruise with tales of Portland's past, as well as admission to attractions like the Haunted House and Alien Experience. The boat departs from Caruthers Landing in SE Portland, so grab your crew and get ready for some spooky, nostalgic fun!

Pet Of The Month
Mango, Frobisher & Isaac
This October, the spotlight shines on an exceptional trio of feline friends! First up is Mango, a chill dude who was raised by a dog that thought she was a cat—so naturally, he’s a cat who thinks he’s a dog! He's super mellow; you can pick him up or roll him over, and he's just along for the ride. Next is Frobisher, named ironically after an old family friend who kept "troublesome antics" in check. Frobie, however, is a self-declared Catio protester, master escape artist, and plant enthusiast whose favorite things are demanding to be taken all the way outside and getting his dinner-time butt-pats ("spankies"). Finally, there’s Isaac, the dignified elder we call "Mr. Bug." He's the grumpiest (and hungriest) of the bunch, and with his vision and hearing fading, you’ll have to give him a little tap to let him know you’re there. If you spot their humans around the building, be sure to say hello to Mango, Frobisher, and Isaac!
